Eleison, (ἐλέησον) pronounced Eleēson means “have mercy” in Greek. Themes of God’s mercy on his people as well as our call to be merciful to each other are at the heart of this blog. It is the daily prayer of all sinners and beseeching God’s mercy to ease the tension that comes with so many stories of sexual minorities is so important. I will touch more on this in the future but for now, Lord have mercy!
